Pre-Sales Questions – General

1. Set your parameters

Molo9™ uses your business’s six key attributes to determine the exact tools & processes you need to use right now to meet your goals, from decreasing CAC & increasing LTV, to improving SEO & increasing sales.

2. View your recommendations.

Molo9™ filters through all of the marketing tactics & strategies to show you which ones will work for your unique business right now.

3. Filter

Filter your recommendations by cost, time & keywords.

4. Refresh

To keep you consistently one step ahead of your competitors, Molo9™’s database is updated regularly with the latest growth hacks & marketing trends.

Molo9™ was built to be the Agent Q to your 007.

If you’re like me, you may have a database of marketing strategies that you use on any given client project.

Since 2009 my database of strategies has evolved from a series of notebooks & files, to a giant excel, then into a full-size database. As my database grew, so did my need for a software solution that would make it faster & easier for me to filter through thousands of strategies to find the ones I needed for my latest client project.

After several failed attempts to pair with a developer to create the software, I decided to take the free time 2020 afforded me to learn to code and build it myself.

Molo9™ now has three solutions all designed to make your marketing project management & planning a breeze:

  1. The marketing recommendation engine
  2. A library of my checklists, briefs & workbooks
  3. The project management portal

The marketing recommendation engine gives you a highly customized roadmap of exactly what you should do to improve the KPIs most important to your client’s company.

When your client’s priorities change, so do the recommendations.

If you would like to vote on future features go here: https://www.molo9.com/make-molo9-better/

If you use it and decide you’d like more recommendations at any time, you can request them here: https://www.molo9.com/my-account/reqest-more-recs/

Here you can read how agencies are using Molo9™ for their own clients: https://www.molo9.com/courses/faq/lessons/pre-sale-questions/topic/how-can-i-white-label-this-2/

I went through all of my notes from consulting at MD9™ (https://md9.co/case-studies/) and split them up. “These strategies should only be used by e-commerce companies selling subscriptions when they need to increase LTV, that strategy should only be used by real estate brokers looking to decrease their CAC”… Then, I brought this giant database of information to a developer who told me it would take 4 years + a team of 12 developers to build into functional software. I decided to learn how to code and brought 4 of the world’s top developers & seasoned founders on to the board of advisors to guide me as I built Molo9™ myself.

  1. The small group sessions take place via Google Meet.
  2. Molo9™ members can purchase access to these sessions here.
  3. The sessions are recorded for attendees to review later, so Fight Club rules apply (what is said at Molo9™ Club stays at Molo9™ Club).
  4. At the end of the session, the video is only sent to those who attended and participated in the session.

These are the exact questions taken from the welcome screen. You can change your answers to these questions at any time in your settings page over here.

  1. First, could you tell me which industry we are working in?
  2. Secondly, what is our primary source of income?
  3. Third, what do we have for a brand fascination score?
  4. Fourthly, have we launched or are we preparing to launch a company?
  5. Fifth, what do we have for our current CAC?
  6. Sixth, what is our current LTV looking like?
  7. Lastly, what is our current GCR (Goal Completion Rate)?

Each question has a help button below it to help you figure out where to find the answer if you do not know it off the top of your head.

We do have recommendations covering email marketing for several industries, business models & brand fascination scores. We will be adding more at the start of February.

If, however, you search specifically for email marketing and find that the recommendations Molo9™ has provided you, do not include recommendations for email marketing, please fill in this form so I can look at your company’s unique parameters and add more to Molo9’s™ database.

Funny you should ask this…Molo9™ actually started out as a blog where I wrote posts to answer marketing questions for friends & family who were non-“marketing/communication/MBA” professionals.

To support those new to marketing we currently have three elements in place:

1. The virtual notebooks. The MVP of Molo9™ was a publication of these 5 notebooks https://www.molo9.com/courses/ that walk first-time founders (people who have never run their own company before) through a few key marketing concepts. **As of now, AppSumo members will have access to these until May 31, 2021. At that point the virtual notebooks will also cease to be included in ALL current Molo9™ memberships.

2. Many of the recommendations have a section called “read more on this topic” at the bottom of the recommendation page, for those who are new to the concept and wishing to learn more about it.

3. We do have regular live Q&A sessions scheduled to resume in our Facebook group on February 12th, so if you have any additional questions, we can address them there.

Unfortunately, at this time any discount greater than this one offered through AppSumo would be a breach of contract.

Over the years Adi Soozin discovered that there are more than 48 timeless underlying psychological principles of influence. Of the 48+ underlying psychological principles of influence & countless content marketing strategies, there are a few that will work best for you based on the information you provide here.

To see the best traction, you will want to include at least one of these in each piece of content (emails, paid ads, website text, podcast interviews, etc) moving forward.

There are certain marketing tactics & strategies that have secondary and tertiary effects on the success of ALL of your sales & marketing initiatives. Adi Soozin calls these Keystone Strategies, in your personalized roadmap, we recommend implementing these first.

High Performance Habits include all of the tactics & strategies consistently used by the marketing teams of Ms. Soozin’s highest performing clients at MD9™.

  1. Marketing agency owners
  2. Real estate brokers & agents
  3. Architects
  4. Sales people who want to take control of their own lead generation
  5. Several CTOs
  6. A Fortune 500 Intrapreneur
  7. The CMO of a multi-national startup
  8. Lots & lots of Solopreneurs

No, Molo9™ is not just a platform where Adi shares “tips”.

Molo9™ currently contains the actual strategies that Adi Soozin used with MD9™ clients. People who have witnessed the success of MD9™ clients, and know that MD9™ charges $1500 per hour for Adi Soozin’s advisory sessions, find Molo9™ to be the ideal & more affordable alternative.

This depends entirely on your 6-7 parameters. We are adding new ones almost daily, so if you ever run out of recommendations fill in this form and we will make sure that we focus on adding more to match your specific parameters.

We do not offer refunds. When we did, people would place a HEAVY load on our servers (which is expensive for us) with their high amounts of usage, then ask for a refund claiming they never used Molo9™.

We now offer a fast pass for those who wish to test drive Molo9™ before deciding if they want to commit to a regular subscription.

No, we had a lot of issues with free trials at other startups in the past and chose not to go this route with Molo9™.

Here is what we do have:

  1. A free content preview here,
  2. A product walkthrough over here,
  3. A temporary pass to Molo9™ over here.

First off, congrats. This is such an exciting time in your young startup’s life. I’m so honored to discover that Molo9™ has been selected to join you on this amazing journey.

If you have a business idea or desire to start a business, the Molo9™ software will not be of use to you just yet. Which is why Ms. Soozin published her pre-launch playbook here to help founders like you.

After you work through Adi Soozin’s pre-launch notebook: from idea on paper to closing your first sales, you will be able to get so much more out of Molo9’s™ software.

What is CAC?

CAC stands for Cost of Customer Acquisition, or Customer Acquisition Cost. CAC helps us to determine if you are using the best options to attract new customers. If your CAC is higher than your industry’s average this is a strong indicator that you are NOT using the best channels to find & connect with potential new customers.

How do you calculate your CAC?

  1. Add up all of the costs associated with your sales & marketing initiatives last month (this includes: salaries & commissions paid to your sales & marketing teams, the costs of ads purchased, retainers paid to PR companies & marketing strategy consultants, etc.)
  2. Divide this total number by the number of new customers acquired last month.
  3. This is last month’s CAC. If it is high, do not worry this is a number that I built Molo9™ to help you decrease. Calculate your CAC every month moving forward & send Molo9™ a love letter when we hit your CAC goals.

In case of emergency:

If no one knows your CAC & you really are unable to calculate it, err on the side of caution and assume that it is “too high”. Moving forward you will want to track this each month so that you know if your marketing strategies are actually growing your company, or killing it.

The relationship between CAC & SEO

Typically your cost of advertising drops as the amount of incoming organic traffic increases. This is why your CAC tends to decrease as your organic search engine rankings improve.

This is also why some founders get very upset when their search engine rankings are impacted.

What is LTV?

LTV, also known as CLTV stands for Customer Lifetime Value. This is an estimate of how much money we can reasonably expect a single customer to spend at a particular company over the length of their relationship with the company.

This number does not only indicate how much we should spend on acquiring new customers, but it also guides us to know which segments of the market are most lucrative to pursue.

As your company grows you will find that investing in better contentproduct diversification and customer care can dramatically increase your LTV.

How do you calculate your LTV?

Purchase Frequency x Average Order Value x Average Customer Lifespan – (Acquisition Cost + Retention Cost)

https://www.clickz.com/how-to-calculate-customer-lifetime-value-cltv-the-complete-guide/228128/

In case of emergency:

If no one knows your LTV & you really are unable to calculate it, err on the side of caution and assume that it is “bad (less than 4x your current CAC)”. Moving forward you will want to track this each month so that you know if you are hemorrhaging money due to a broken customer journey, poor performing customer support protocol or an error in the product or service that you are offering.

The relationship between LTV & SEO

As better content, product refinement, product diversification and / or customer care leads more of your current customers to stick around and spend more money with your company, your LTV will increase.

If you’ve ever heard of large companies having a 12 person team just working on SEO, it is because SEO initiatives such as press coverage and SERP 1 content not only drive your CAC down, but can increase your GCR and LTV.

How does Molo9™ use LTV?

Molo9™ crosses your current LTV with your company’s unique attributes to find the best ways to increase your LTV.

What is GCR?

GCR stands for Goal Completion Rate. This is the percentage of: foot traffic, web traffic, etc. that completes your desired goal. An easy and free way to track your GCR is via Google Analytics. Click here to view Google’s guide on how to create and track a goal in Google Analytics.

In retail and other brick & mortar settings, QR codes can help you to bring your physical customers to an online setting where you can easily track GCR.

Regardless of the tool, you want to find a way to track your GCR so that Molo9™ can help you to improve it.

What is a good goal to set?

For your first goal, I would suggest a goal that is easy to track online. Any of the following could be adjusted to track your GCR:

  1. I want people to come to my website, click the buy now button and complete the purchase
  2. I want people to come to my website, click the learn more button and complete the registration form
  3. I want people to come to my website, click the apply now button and complete the application
  4. I want people to come to my website, click the request a quote button and complete the form
  5. I want people to come to my website, click the book a reservation button and complete the booking

Just fill in this form so Ms. Soozin can add more.
